There are lots of service options for you to choose from. The Silver Package is for Evening DJ Services with lighting of your choice, then continues through the levels to The Platinum Package for those majestic events!
You are able to customise your event to perfectly match your plans, so that it provides your favourite music choices for Ceremony, Cocktail and Dining music to fit the mood, a wireless handheld microphone system for speeches etc and then an easy segue into the Evening DJ fun!

Karaoke Party
Now here we are at one of DJ Alis favourite pastimes. SINGING! This is where you can cut loose and literally transform into any singer you want to be! The karaoke list is expansive and growing constantly.
Hosted karaoke means DJ Ali comes along with the karaoke and run it for the arranged length of time. No need for you to waste time trying to master any complicated equipment or stand around a machine desperately looking for something to sing.
As your Host DJ Ali keeps the night rolling, helps with suggestions and will sing with you if you realise you really only know the chorus to that song (happens ALL THE TIME !!).
Its fun. Entertaining. Amusing. Perfect for bringing people together. Great for lung exercise and gets the oxygen flowing. Almost as good as going to the gym!

Customise a playlist to suit your event. Have as much or as little input into the music as you would like. Guests requests are welcome. Singles Charts are monitored and the database is regularly updated, so you can rest easy knowing Avago Entertainment has your favourite tracks to keep you dancing until your energy runs out!
Spotify is available, so you can simply send your playlist link via email to Avago Entertainment. Easy as!
Reluctant party goers can sometimes be persuaded to get interactive with a Cha Cha Slide, line dance or Macarena, and DJ Ali is more than happy to get out front and lead them into some fun!

What is your song list like? Open or Close
I have a very comprehensive list from '50s through to now, including the most popular tracks from Top 40 NZ Singles Charts. I have so much music that it would be impossible for me to list it all, but I do bring along a varied music list along to the evening function for people to look through for ideas. My music database is continually updated to reflect the many new popular tracks regularly purchased. My entire music collection is available for use at the function venue.

Are we able to make playlists for the evening and request special songs i.e. First Dance? Open or Close
I encourage you to have as much input into the music as you would like. Music is a very personal individual choice and many music tastes need to be taken into consideration on such an important day.
As your DJ I have the ability to play music to suit any mood, and you can choose from just about every genre available. You are not limited to a set playlist or music repertoire as you would be with some other DJs or a band.
If you want to choose the main play list then you are welcome to do so, and we make a base play list using your requests. I offer advice and suggestions that are time-proven. I also want to know about any music you definitely don't want played. Specialty music can be provided by yourself of if requested in plenty of time I may be able to source it for you. -
Do you take requests on the night? Open or Close
YES. Unless you prefer not to offer the request option, I like guests to be able to come and talk with me and request their favourite tracks. The playlist constantly evolves through the evening to suit the current mood, and as guests take the initiative to add their requests to the list everyone gets to hear something they like. This keeps people interested in the dance floor instead of just drinking and talking!

Do you take breaks, and how often? Open or Close
I don't need to take breaks so the music is as continuous as possible. There is NO DOWN TIME with Avago Entertainment - if you book four hours then that is what you get! You get fantastic value for money with me as your DJ.

When do you setup at the venue? Open or Close
All equipment is setup earlier in the day so everything is done before your guests start to arrive.

How do we pay for your services? Open or Close
The most often used payment option is 50% of the base package fee as your deposit at the time of booking to secure your chosen date, with the balance (and any extra hours needed) paid prior to, or at the Reception on the day. The deposit can be paid by cash, cheque, Internet/online banking or direct to my bank account.

Can we make payments to pay for the services we want? Open or Close
YES. I have a Payment Plan option that means you can make a smaller deposit and then schedule regular payments to suit your budget until the full payment is paid by your Wedding Date.

Can we upgrade the Package we initially choose if we decide we need further services? Open or Close
YES. As long as you confirm a basic booking with a deposit you can change to whichever package best suits your plans at any stage, or we can custom build one to suit. There are many options that we can discuss to tailor the package to suit your personal style & venue, & we can swap things around to suit your own schedule.

Do you offer a Contract so we know what we are getting for our money? Open or Close
YES, Professionals always use a contract. Be wary of someone who doesn't offer one. Sometimes people don't want to bother, but a contract ensures both parties are on the same page with regards to who is responsible for what, and you must be 100% sure of what you are getting.

Are we able to call or email or maybe meet with you during the run up to our Wedding Day? Open or Close
Of course! You are welcome to call or email me as many times as you need. I live in Wakefield, Nelson so contacting me is easy and stress-free, and if you need a local meeting to finalise ideas we can arrange that too.
